this is a simple throw-together airsoft bbmg i made in 09. it uses a vortex cap and a small aluminum barrel. the exterior is that of a broken airsoft mac-10. it fires at roughly 280 fps and 54rps. the largest flaw of this is obviously the bb hopper which i grew lazy while working on. i can empty the entire hopper with one fill of the 2 liter bottle at 120 psi, but i usually operate this gun with an ex propane tank that i converted to hold air

Looks fun. Just be careful with the two liter bottle... I would barely trust one to 60psi...

I have taken a 2 liter up to well over 120 psi....

They seems to burst at around 220-300 depending on the bottle.
By the way... when they do pop... the either split... nice and clean.... or they blow up in your face and send plastic shrapnel everywhere.... either way its louder than any noise you could imagine a plastic bottle making.

I once filled one with a mystery substance.... quite a few different substances actually...... and then used a guage to check bursting pressure.

That is where i get my 220-300 average from..

You will know before they blow because they USUALLY deform first.

As always, please be careful.

EDIT: Darn backspace button.... failed to work....
