Just as an experiment, I put a hopup unit from an old gun on the muzzle of this BBMG.

So heres my gun with muzzle-end hopup

It works just fine, but I haven't seen this done anywhere. Is there a reason for that that i missed? It seems like an exedingly simple way to add hopoup to ant BBMG. Why have I not seen it more?
(Unless, of course, it just hasn't been tried?)
Thanks to the internet, I know everything about everything exept how to actually do anything.

I've never done that. Isn't there supposed to be some barrel after the hop-up?

I belive it's been done before, but many people don't have spare hop-up systems to use,
how's much does the performance change with it?

I did it on mine. It works better if you put it as far as possible from the muzzle. You can see mine Here I drilled a hole wrapped it rubber then used screw-nut combo to make it adjustable. It works pretty good.

Edit: You can also see it on the the I-15's ugly twin the I-14
