ok guys, I finished up my BBMG recently, and purchased the hpa tank i will be running it off of (guerilla air 62 cubic inch 3000 psi tank) the reg that it came with outputs at 800 psi... way over the 150 i was aiming for. so my question to you guys is, what are some cheap inline regulators that will take 800 psi down to around 150, and will cheaper regulators made for air compressors work? Glad you got your BBMG up, how about some pictures, for your set up some of it depends on how you want it mounted. Do you want a backpack set up or a paintball gun like setup?

Link This is the reg I use. I even have that exact same HPA tank.

An air compressor regulator will not handle the input pressure. An old CO2 keg or soda fountain regulator is designed for the pressure. Many are adjustable. 50-100 PSI is common. Some can adjust to your max 150.

don't have a camera at the house right now, will get pictures up later, i do have a video however, ill link it. however i planned on having a backpack setup so the weight is not all on the gun itself. Also, you linked me to that bob long one awhile back, but they do not have them in stock and i cannot for the life of me find it for the same price anywhere...

It looks like the LP 360 reg goes from 0-250 PSI - this seems rather a limited range. From what I remember, operating pressure range in the HPR for Timmies is 200-300 PSI.

This regulator looks to be designed to screw into a marker. I doubt it can simply be attached to a home made project. Find a good large photo to see what I mean.

that forum thread is about a bob long regulator dude, not the one i have linked :/ I was looking closer at the pictures on all the regs ive found, and the bob long one linked to me, and it looks as if the output needs another remote line attached to it, like it has another valve in it or something.. I'm not knowledgeable enough in paintball stuff to know what was what fittings and valves, so if somebody could just make a list of porducts that will achieve 150 psi output from a 3000 psi tank, even if i have to replace the reg on the tank itself...

2. A remote that connects to bottle
3. ASA to 1/4" NPT adapter available at most paintball shops

With this setup you use the same rig for all your BBmgs and cannons. It also will do both Co2 and HPA. I also had no paintball experience when I set this up. If you have problems just ask the people at the paintball shop.

Thats one of the main problems, theres no paintball shops local, and the one i whent to about an hour away had absolutely no idea... Irisher, the reg you linked, is it screwed into your tank? or is it after the remote line? also, are there any other places you know of to get that reg cheap? I cannot find any other regs that do the same for that price..

Tank-->Remote-->Regulator-->Adapter-->what ever you are powering.
The one I linked to was only $20 you will not get much cheaper then that. Plus it's adjustable to give you a 0-800 psi pressure range. 8)

Yes that one is 20 dollars, but they are out of stock, and will not be restocking them, retail that reg goes for about 70 dollars...
