I just got this thing functional, it just seems incomplete. Any suggestions on what else I should add?
Bullpup Ak:
It was once a UTG AK-74. I got It as payment for fixing a friend's gun.

Maybe some sights and some paint... I guess you could use some kind of filler to smooth out and construction gaps...It looks really cool though...

wow nice work bro!!
OK here's what i think you should do.
>Get rid of the tape holding your trigger on and bolt it into place.
>>>> make sure its level
>What are those 2 indented stripes on the stock? they don't look super nice, i would recommend filler and sand down.
>Fatten up that front grip.
>get some standard rail, and attach it to the top and maybe the bottom front.
in terms of paint, flat black is ok, but i would recommend some kind of cammo paint job, and there will be a nice big flat space on your stock which may detract from the finish, so maybe you can mask it up an spray some kind of logo or insignia onto it??
or you could leave it blank and get some sticky Velcro and stick it to the stock, and stick the other side to spare mags??
just some ideas mate

Yeah, definitely ditch the tape and hide the wires. The straps on the stock are ugly.
The pistol grip doesn't seem level, but I don't know how much you can do with that. Is it mounted far enough forward so you can rock in magazines properly?
Sights would be good. Is the rear sight located far enough forward so that you can reuse it? It will probably be too low, but you might be able to crank it up. Or maybe a cheap red dot sight. Or you might be able to get some MP7 style sights. They tend to be well under $20.
The PVC front grip looks cheesy. What about the old rear grip? Can you reuse that instead?
Paint would be good. I don't recommend trying to do a camo job since most homemade camouflage paintjobs look terrible. Keep it simple. Black is fine, black and od green works, maybe a punisher skull.

awesome,
can you remove the flash hider, it only makes the gun longer
some Sights and tactical rail mounts would be nice, does the but of the gun fit in your shoulder comfortably and is the stock section long enough; a good stock is about as long as your forearm when you grip the handle. you might know this, but in case you don't: to test if a stock fits you bend your elbow 90 degrees, grip the handle in your hand and lay the stock along your forearm, if it's long enough the but should just touch your upper arm.
