Sidestrafer

As a "side" project, punny aren't I, I'm going to make a "sidestrafer" vortex BBMG out of primarily epoxy. For those of you out there who don't know what a "sidestrafer is, Its basically just a vortex turned on its side feeding from the side.
My plans are to cast an epoxy block around a piece of 3/4" PVC. On top of that I will either build a vertical hopper or have a spring fed "magazine" parallel to the barrel.
so my questions are:
should the vortex hole still be 3/4" for airsoft bbs?
will this consume more/less/equal amount of air as a conventional inline?
Will the ROF be equal to a conventional inline?
Are there any feeding issues with this type of design?
Thanks in advance for the help
p.s. I've seen the Epoxy casting how to, but does anyone have any other specific tips for me?
