Hah, this thing puts your bbmg to shame!
LOL
I think the good performance will make up for the ghettoness. I expect good power out of this. Plus, after paint and accessorizing, it will be pretty cool. After all, I turned this:
Into this:

Why are you using IE then.. dont you stick with the times, IE is slow, unstable and not secure. You should use a different internet browser like firefox, chrome, safari...
Anyway, in terms of your gun, I really like how you made the end of the barrel flush with the vortex block. I like how you matched the smoothness of the circular shape of the vortex.
One thing, what are you firing out of this thing with a 6.35mm barrel?

Airsoft bb's, what do you think lol, I can't get 6mm pipe easily. 6.35 is the best it gets.

Looks good for a quickie BBMG, but that's quite a bit of BB chamber volume for presumably compressor pressures and without a detent performance isn't going to be that impressive.

As
stated before, you're wasting enough air to warrant the search for a tighter barrel.
Though this being specifically
ghetto, perhaps my comments are superfluous

There is nothing "ghetto" about this BBMG.
Point out what is ghetto about it?
"Ghetto" is using whats laying around the house to build with. Like soup can for air/ammo chamber, drinking straws for barrels, duct tape to hold it all together, etc...
What is posted here is a nice little BBMG well made with pre-manufactured parts.

Time for Ragnarok's definition of ghetto. It must have/be at least 3 of these:
1) Made without measuring anything.
2) At least two kinds of tape (PTFE does not count).
3) Next to no money spent.
4) Less than 50% rated components.
5) Made spontaneously because of exceptional boredom.
6) A tool was used for a purpose dramatically different to what it was intended for in the construction.
7) Significant pieces are biodegradable.
Work it out from that.

It is ghetto in my mind, because I am comparing it to my M16.

You nailed it... at 100 psi performance is laughable, not going that fast or very far. But bump up the pressure and it is pretty good. Not worthy of a video, but Reedfe may choose to make one, if he feels like it.
I might shorten the chamber, make a few mods to the vortex and barrel so that there is less volume. Being only a bit bigger than the chamber on my M16 which has very good power, I didn't really expect it to be this weak, so maybe I'll make the chamber smaller. But, once again, not my gun and I'll have to consult Reedfe. Maybe he'll come on here with a reply, but he has been away this weekend.

ok, i just got back from camping. looks very nice but i guess not so much on the performance. umm i guess you could cut it shorter if that will inhance performance. plus i was really hoping for a nice compact gun. also that would mean you have to cut the barrel shorter correct. then do it
and Luke i have two surprises for you. really things that i did/got but i'll still share it with you. perhaps we can slap my extra barrel in it. the one from my p90

The performance is not bad but you need high pressure, your 140 should do. This gun is as compact as it gets with the barrel length, plus you designed it
Talk to you tomorrow.
