this is my homemade bbsmg it uses a 120 psi 5 gal tank and holds about 2,000 bbs. I still need to make a stock for it tho. 8)

Looks good, but maybe some properly sized pictures would be nice.
How heavy is that air tank?
EDIT: and where did you get a 5 gallon tank? Smallest I've found is 7 gallon.

Nicely done but such a relatively large chamber can't be good for efficiency, have you thought of welcoming
detents into your life?
A regged down paintball tank could probably give you the same firing time in a lot more compact package.
Why such a long hose?

When I first saw that picture I thought it was a coaxial vortex.
When you make a stock, use the back end cap as a buttstock and use a trigger linkage to move the trigger and handle forward. That way, you can have a stock without making the gun longer!

hey i know this is kinda dead but im looking to make an inline vortex gun, i already know how, im just wondering is there any good way to limit the rpm of shots? i mean im cool with 6000rpm but thts alot of bullets and alot of cash, lol is there any way to make the design LESS efficient at loading bbs?

The best way to limit the rpm would be to add some kind of detent, you can look at one of JSR's impressive detent projects for reference (someone else will have to provide links, or use the search), or if you want a simpler (but less adjustable) detent method, check out
my bbmg. I used a simple windshield wiper hose as my detent (mine works if you're using .177 bb's, but other tube sizes will work for 6mm bb's).
