I build regular airguns like bigger ones, but i hvae been looking to build an airsoft gun for sooooo long, and now i found spudfiles :). But i don't know how to build a semi auto or full auto bb gun yet so can someone direct me to full plans for a design?

Help is much much appreciated, if i put a video on youtube or a post on here or watever i will give original designer credit.

not many people will give out plans here, especially for something as simple as a vortex/cloud bbmg.

If you post your design before you build we could help you find faults and make improve on them. That way you lean something and get a good gun.

see that is the thing here. i don't have a design for a bb gun. i have made bigger bore airguns tht shoot at about the caliber the size of a marble, so smaller caliber stuff is not really my thing. so as of now i dont have any plans. I think my biggest problem is with the valves used in making a semi/ full auto, so if you could point me to something that would help me with that, it would probably help, nd thanks for helpin out the newbie

I'm in a charitable mood, (It's Friday, Friday I guess :D) here's the simplest sort of auto you can make:

http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-build ... un-210157/

Slightly more complex: http://www.burntlatke.com/bb.html

A semi auto requires a little more sophistication, there are plenty of examples in the showcase.

The rest depends on what power/size/cost parameters you want to work with, and how adept you are at translating mechanical concepts into reality using the tools and materials you have to hand.

Image 2. this is the gun when a new mag is inserted, it would need to be cocked then and only then.
Image 3. The gun is cocked forward, ammo sitting slightly in front of where air enters the barrel, bolt slightly behind the spot.
Image 4. The trigger is pulled: ammo is propelled out of the barrel, bolt is propelled backwards behind the mag, entering a new bb into the chamber.

it would be like a blowback type of gun. so this i feel could work semi automatically, but probably not fully. if this were to work would i need the air source to be a compressor or could i use tanks? nd if it did work would the amount of air entering the chamber be fixed or depend on the amount of time the trigger is held down for?

1. this is the gun at rest. A bolt of some kind blocks the ammo from going into the barrel.

That looks familiar ;) It won't work at compressor pressures as a semi auto in my experience, you need to go HPA.

It could be made to work as a manually cycled action like this though:

Ah, my favourite :) What more details do you want? Everything you need to know to build it should be clear from the photos and description.

Have a look at this one too, even simpler.

ok well this isn't really pertaining to that specific gun but all 6mm. say you have like an inner and outer barrel like i am seeing on a few guns. how do you get the inner barrel (The like 6mm or 8mm pipe whatever it is) to stay i guess "suspended" inside the outer barrel
