Slowing down ROF

So I am making my first airsoft vortex block machine gun, and when testing it today it ripped right through a soda can, so now i have to halves. Pretty damn awesome! My only problem is the ROF is so high that I used a whole 1000 jar in about 3 pulls of the trigger. How do I slow down the fire rate? I am also planning on lowering the pressure some and going to an airsoft war with my friends. Will that work for lowering fps?

put a 1/4 inch ball valve in front of the trigger valve, in order to reduce flow.

14 seconds of video = 1 second real time, work it out ;)

ok looks like about 31 rounds per second then. Does that seem about right?

Yep... just to compare with a conventional vortex BBMG, have a look at this:

In this case, 33 seconds of video equals one second of real time, rate of fire is about 95 rounds per second.
