Im sure most of you are familiar with the tornado impact grenade here
Ive always wanted to be able to find a decent build for a homemade grenade. A timer would be preferable but I haven't had any luck finding or coming up with a workable design. This is a rough design and needs some improvement.
As far as the outer shell and how the payload (bbs, maybe even some confetti if i'm feeling festive) is fired is something thats the biggest difficulty. I hate the cheap "wrap it in foil" solution, but the tornado design of rotating channels might be a little out of my reach.
P.S that trigger system at the end of the video might actually be something that could be reproduced, it would be more effective since it wouldn't have to land upright.

You are planning on launching it in a airsoft war right? I have made a much litter one, and everybody thought it would be to dangers because of the weight. With yours, witch has a steel co2 cartridge and other stuff, would be deadly of it hits somebody directly.
In technical aspect, a co2 is really a overkill and wast. A small aluminum chamber will work, and much cheaper as you don't need to buy co2 every time.

true, its a rough work, its intended to be hand thrown, mostly composed of pvc, a piston valve would work from the pressure plate, but i don't have any experience with those
