how do you increse the power in co2 powered pellet guns? im reffering to store bought ones. i know that some shoot like 500 fps but what if you want to hook it up and have bulk co2 and shoot 1000 fps? what restricts the gun from greater power?

like if i added a bulk 20oz co2 tank to this and a reg would i be able to shoot a higher velocity or do i need to expand the air chamber and add a stronger spring?
and last question is it possible to convert this gun to full auto

Beast, not to shit on you or any thing, but please just try making something instead of asking tons of questions. That's how I learned, and its paying off. Literally, I make money from this stuff now. Just make a simple cloud BBMG and see what you can try from there on. You won't get far with tons of questions, people get annoyed quickly....

Don't worry about making money yet. You gotta get started with the basics to get to where I am at, and many others on the forum. Just work on a cloud bbmg. Use google to find out how to mod co2 valves and stuff as well...

Yeah stay away from that for now lol.
I was gonna tell you the same thing beast... Slow down man. You got too much on your plate. Enthusiasm and ambition is good. But chill with the new topics lol
Crank out one decent gun like warhead said, not necessarily a cloud, but anything, then we'll get into modding co2 guns. It's not simple

True, its not simple, but may as well get him to see how difficult it is.

Without extreme modifications you won't get much higher power out of a CO2 air rifle.
The only way would be to modify the hammer valve to have a larger flow for a longer time and extend the barrel length.
Anyway, 500fps is a good plinking velocity, I don't know why you want 1000fps out of a gun. Read the above advise and goodluck, we all have to start somewhere

Well you could let more gas into the valve firing chamber and open up the ports by about 1.5mm to increase flow, and reduce a few threads on the valve head like on the crosman 2240. if you look at some crosman valve mods you'l see

The Truth is NO to the C02. Not under normal tenps 70 to 90 degrees. The best is 700fps to med 800 fps consistance. Here is some other info,
track down the THREE AMIGO'S "aka" Ron Sauls, Troy Adams, Jeff Meier they can answer alot of questions. They played around with thoughts sence the late 80's.
