My first 50 cal hammer valve

My first 50 cal single shot hammer valve (still under construction)
just use a few plumbing fittings
needs a decent air tank but this thin alloy water container can handle 150 psi
needs some more sanding and paint it black or maybe camo
still making the trigger system but just trying to make the right design

thanks..for the moment its muzzle loaded, im just looking for the perfect bolt design

i used 2 pieces of ply board, draw the design in 3 hours, cut it with a jig saw and sanding & shaping with a dremel

i prefer hammer valve than qev+ slide valve
qev+ slide valve may easier to make
but definitely hammer valve is more powerful

No, hammer valves are more economical, there's far too much flow constriction in a hammer valve, and far less gas is released per shot.
Hammer valves win in consistancy, but certainly not in power.
