Looks like it should work unless you have the QEV in backwards.

It WILL work as long as the needle valve is set slow enough.

It should work, but I see a lot of adjustment in your future...

What do you mean as in adjustment? I just see alot of more money being spent for stupid addons xD

Too much flow and the safety valve will pop open and stay open.
Too little flow and the safety valve will just leak pathetically.
Is the safety valve adjustable?

Yes its adjustable , would that help? Its 25-200 psi and it cane with 4 spings

If you're using the CO2 unregulated, go ahead and use the 200 psi spring

I figured that ill need a reg eventually so i can lower it .... Do generally all pantball fields do co2 refills? Ill call ahead anyways ... And if they do have a refil station since i dont have a standard reg can they fill for me straight from asa fittings? And i was looking at a 0-600psi popoff that you recommended to someone else in another topic , do you think the air release from that one would be enough to fire the qev , the hole looks small in the pic but idk and ps jack you are awesome , you help everyone out on here with everything and i cannot stress that enough but thanks everyone else too
edit- have you ever used the popoff i am talking about from amazon ? The little awkward looking one that looks like it has a button on top , becuase it came with no directions and a bag with it and four springs :/ they are color coded but thats useless without knowing the code! Damn you amazon - another edit of my edit hahaha- im just a retard , obviosly its the strongest , longer one of the springs

Not really... no matter what the input pressure, it's the pop-ff that decides at what pressure you actually fire.

Most of them do

That's how they are usually filled

Stick to the 200 psi one, it's more than enough for your purposes I think.
and ps jack you are awesome , you help everyone out on here with everything and i cannot stress that enough but thanks everyone else too
My intentions are not so benign... Mr. Durden is building an army

Yep, stronger spring -> bigger pop-off pressure.

One of the reviews on that valve has the spring colors and their respective pressure ranges. You could probably pick up a stronger spring from the hardware store and get the pop off pressure even higher than 200 psi...

Well i would do that and everythings working but i mean this thing is a HUGE WASTE of air ... Like really you dont knoe how much .... Air is coming out of the end of the qev in spurts like desired but like 85% of the air powering it is just POURING out of the popoff , everythings working but like this thing is useless if it does this it, it doesnt even have the power to luanch a paintball enough to pop , like ALL of the power is going to the popoff how can i put the power into the qev!?!?
