Hello
Stumbled across this great forum four a while ago!
So i decided to build a 6mm BB gun:P
Got almost everything to make it work!
The plan is to make a semi-auto softair gun that will use regular plastic BB´s and steel.
Spec:
Fire mode: single, burst, auto.
6mm BB
Electric 3 way solonoid 12v/ may switch to 5 way later!
8 Bar pressure.
QEV
Air cylinder reloading.
Arduino fire control.
15x BB magazine or more,
Future upgrade will be a smal compressor to make it handheld:P
PS will upload some real pics later! Just a quick paint pic right now! lol

You might wanna add something to keep multiple bbs from going into the breech, like some hose rubber, similar to the detent.

Somebody actually not just post a fancy diagram but also the real stuff! Congratulations :thumbright:

I think it would be easier to build the magazine in front of the T but that would maybe reduce the flow when the piston resting in the breech?
But less dead space?
I could ad a 5 way solenoid to take care of the loading cylinder!
Just ad a delay in the arduino sketch so the bolt would hold it in forward position for some ms and then release and pick up next BB.... and so on!
More complex but then you could tune the reloading and fire rate digitally.
Any thoughts?

Thank you:P
Have seen your movies! inspired:) Made the QEV from your tutorials and some tips from the air cylinder reloading you made:P

I agree with wyz, congratulations on actually building it! Its beautiful!! The idea about the 5-way valve is great if you can pull it off! Awaiting a video

I think i can do it!
But the hardest part will be the programing:P i dont like it:P haha
Will upload some spudporn later today and show the solenoid controled by the arduino:P
Testing

Testing out the cylinder with a tire valve as rebound spring!
It works but i don´t like the setup! rely hard to get the right pressure!
And 8 bar wouldn't extend it to maximum position whit out to get it close again!
Hmm need to order 2pcs 3way valves or one 5way double solenoid:P
BTW made some own nippels with m4 bolts! Will use fuel hose next time:P easier to make seal prof and softer!
