over all the combustion and pnuenimatic gun u made...
1)which is funner to build
2)which is funner to shoot
i choose combustion...i know that compressed air is stronger, and i have made air guns before...ive been making them since over a year ago alomost, anyways i like combustion because its faster to load, more exciting to shoot, and way simple to build a very fun and good one, unless u wanna go pro and have fans, pvc rockets, clear pvc ect.
what do u think?
what is funner?
This is my opinion obvisouly.
1) combustion
2) combustion
I dont know why its funner to build a combustion but to me it is. Your basically doing the same thing to construct one (gluing PVC together).
Firing a combustion is alot funner then firing a pneumatic. I know ive said this a couple times and it changes a little everytime. Hold on let me start a new line so I can put it in qoutes.
"Would you rather have the whoosh of air from pneumatic or would you like a loud BOOM and a huge flame from a combustion"
Its sounded better (no pun intended). The only thing better about a pneumatic is that they can shoot farther. For any young spudgunner I would highly recommend building a combustion because they seem to satisfy a teen senses better, simpler to build, repairing should be common sense, and they are more portable. Pneumatics are better for older people because they arent that portable so there gun doesnt need to be portable.

Pneumatics are for raw power. Their fun comes in building (only real differance is the valve) and the power of shooting things.
Combustions in my opinion are more fun (not FUNNER!) because you can take them anywhere, and they have the big bang and flame.

I like the precision of the Pneumatic variant, it fires almost everytime, the risk of blowing your hand off is alot less, and I dont freak out my neighbors (I shoot in my backyard, which has a forest and is going downhill as a backstop, and there is no way the ammo can bounce to hit their houses, unless it pulls off a curve move...)
Pneumatics are alot easier to aim, and they take up less room (in my opinion). And plus, you dont have to buy a $15 sparker everytime the last one breaks...
But there is no denying the testosterone rush from a 5 foot flame!

I honor your opion but I just totally disagree with you.
My combustions fire almost everytime to.
Combustion usally are loader (I hate my neighbors) Also combustions are just as likely to hit a house as a pneumatic.
What How are pneumatics easier to aim?
Holy Sh*t are you RETARDED. With a pneumatic you have to tow this huge compressor all around and for a combustion you can just have a propane tank strapped to the chamber.
Sorry to counter every statement but I just have to defend my precious combustions from being dawgged on.

Not true a combustion produces around 50 psi while a pneumatic has any were from 50 to 120 psi through the same pipe. Plus a pneumatic has to hold that high pressure for a few seconds while a combustion is only for a second or shorter.Darkerweb12 wrote:...the risk of blowing your hand off is alot less...

Ive used my Walmart 12$ BBQ sparker well over 500 shots and its still going strong.Darkerweb12 wrote:And plus, you dont have to buy a $15 sparker everytime the last one breaks...
Im not sure about this but isnt testosterone like your sex drive. Please dont make fun off me if im wrong because im not real sure about that one. I defintly would get some kind of a rush from a "5 foot flame".Darkerweb12 wrote:But there is no denying the testosterone rush from a 5 foot flame!

After I build my pneumatic I see the big differense. My combustions don't have that much kick as the pneumatic. What can I expect with less then 60psi?They are just week (exept the O2 powered ) What's that mobility problem.I use a bike pomp and it works enough fast. The combustions can't fire a hevy sheel=>no impresive penetration....I think that the hibrids are most fun
I like combustion cannons because you don't have to check every piece for a pressure rating. As for $15 sparkers, I have a friend who's dad works for kodak so I get all the disposable cameras I need for my ignition. Designing pneumatics is fun though.

i like comdistions for canventional use and pneumatics for other like a paint ball tanka with a constant air system. combustion are cheap pneumatics are expencive combustions have a fast reaload pneumatics have longer reaload time (unless using a consatant air/12 gram co2 setup) the list is long but not endless

first of all testosterone is the male sex hormone responsible for sex drive, aggression etc. It plays a key factor in shaping the male body( beard, baldness, muscle growth) It causes macho behavior. It's produced by the testicles.
It doesn't come in a rush. That would be adrenalin. That's the stuff that gets you alert in a fight or flight situation. It can also cause "runners high".
Okay now the important stuff; I never built a combustion.I set out from the start to try and make my own airgun after reading about Girandoni (lethal .45)airrifles in the 1700's.I thought...if they could do it back then, I can do it now.
I'm always thinking of ways to build the better gun. That's why
I like designing and building way better than shooting.I just do a couple of test shots, have some fun with it and the interest is gone.I'm off designing the next gun.Maybe when I build the gun I dreamed of when I started this "quest" I'll enjoy shooting a little more. That would be a silenced 60 bar (900 psi)repeater at a minimum caliber of 9mm.
Now that's "macho"

hell yes i agree with you brian the brain pneumatics are far better than combustion because in pneumatics you can choose your power and you can make them look heaps cool any way that is just my 2 bobs worth everyone has there favorites so there is no use arguing over it. even no i beleive in anarchism but hey what the hell
yeah...but i love shooting comb. there so much fun, and for the people who dont know shit they think a comb is way "better" and funner to shoot
i like a kick in my guns...and i dont like making a really nice pnu. and it doesnt work, or theres a leak or something like that, you can expiriment with comb
