As to your question, the valve is rated to a few hundred PSI - like 300-500 - and the chamber is rated to 220. If I remember correctly, threaded fittings are rated to 1/2 of the pipe rating, so the 2" threads are rated to 160 psi...
"Safe use" is a sketchy subject, but I'd keep it under 150.
