break barrel spring gun
ok i kno thats a crappy diagram srry bout that was the best i could do in a short time. its ganna b all made out of pvc pipes, brakeline or aluminum tubing for the barrel, and the end of the piston will be from a bike pump. im tryin to figure out a way to seal the chamber and the barrel with a practical way. right now im leaning towards a union type thing but if anyone has any ideas please tell me
You should try and find a way to make the barrel break also act as a pump, like a BB Rifle.

Put a rubber ring where the barrel touches the chamber.

Yeah, Bolt rocks! Carrtoon made an actual barrel for nerf guns that is break barrel. Here is a link.

Oh yeah, Here's the actual Double shot nerf gun. It has break barrel also. And shell ejection, it makes the seal by a foam ring. Range is still vary bad for that gun.

thank
its its already a hindged barrel cocking design dats y i put break barrel. the little dot is where it hinges and the rod like thing underneath the chanber and the breach of the barrel is the cocking thing. and u think it would really b airtight enough with just a oring between the breach and the chanber? do u need to put like oil on it or sumthin

you thinking of a dremle/dremel tool? google one of those...
No, and yes.
That was Carrtoon who made the hinged barrel. And yes, He used a dremel. You should always have a dremel and many different bits for it. Since my dremel messed up I had to literally melt my way through the plastic. But you can't do that since you are working with metal.
Here is a pic of the FAR that I am making, I got a blowtorch and got a utility knifs red hot, and slowly melted my way through the plastic.

Here it is next to one I tried to cut with a handsaw.

- Location: Not so beautiful North Carolina, but at least it’s the U.S.A.!
For twenty bucks US you can order one ready made here:

We’ve got two. You may have to do a little work to get them to shoot strait but other than that they’re cherry
But if you really want to make one, use something more ridged than brake line, sleeve it in pipe. Or for simplicity’s sake make it an under lever
