The Solution to CO2 (Possibly)
it's 12 dollars and you can buy multi boxes like that at stores so there's no S&H. and that's better than a bulky air tank

air you loose from the pop-off is wasted, and with a pressure gauge you can go to higher pressures then previosly desired as the pop-off cant change its set pressure without you modding the spring.
and remeber to get a decent amount of air and pressure youll need a pretty big tank to lug around with you,i understand what your saying but if you use sch80 you wont need a pop-off just a gauge and you can always slow the air down with a coiled hose or a small dia ball valve or even a big valve just open it slower or only half way.

So you're saying I wouldn't need a pop-safety. Hmmm...MrCrowley wrote:air you loose from the pop-off is wasted, and with a pressure gauge you can go to higher pressures then previosly desired as the pop-off cant change its set pressure without you modding the spring.

How small of a valve would I need to slow down the air a lot? 1/4"?
im gonna go with "not safe" on that. just use a steel chamber, smaller and just as good. plus you can control the volume of c02 by adding some lenght to your pipe. or maybe open up a pb gun and see how its done. or hell, just use the line as the chamber, ur shootin stuff like paintballs, so the tiny amount in the coiled hose might even be enuff. but i wouldnt trust pvc and a ball valve to regulate it. accidentally drop ur valve and BOOM.
Well I'm not going that high C1 is going to be 150 PSI at most w/ PVC not metal. And KVINCEO, I'm not using CO2 with this cannon.
Could I use the hoses used to connect blowguns to sprinkler valves? I think they're pressure rated but I'm not sure.
