or you can take a piece of copper pipe (that fits inside you barrel obviously) and close off one end and round it to a semi pint with led or something and put some wading behind it and that will do some damage!!!
For the ping pong balls:
You could do a lost wax casting. Or, make a metal mold for lead balls. That would work good I bet. Or, two wood boxes, sand, oil and you could make a sand mold.

I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

Sorry if im bringing up an old topic. But I use pvc that fits in my barrel, close off one end with non-sticky duct tape, and then fill it with airsoft bb's. When I fire it you have yourself a shotgun.

Yeah the bb's go crazy fast. Sometimes the shell moves with it and is realy dangerous to use in airsoft wars but other times the shell drops right out of the barrel about 5ft away. But the bb's either way go fast enough to reach my target. Right now im trying to figure out what size pvc would plastic easter eggs fit in for a gernade like cannon. I would fill these eggs with bb's or other objects that would scatter.
Also PAspuder you should use fishing wights. There made of lead and you can get them in any size.

Sorry I wasn't thinking about that. Anyways.... I like the idea. I have a brass eagle pump paintball gun that uses 12g cartridges. So I now have use for them.
