Wow Sgort, that looks perfect for remote ignition. Im very interested in this but fairly inexperienced when it comes to wiring electronics. If I purchase one of those, how much electical know-how would be required to hook that up to my current stun gun ignition?

If your car runs off of something between 9 and 12 volts, you can just patch off of that. That would actually be best I think. All that circuit needs is an input voltage and it will give you an output voltage of the same. You just hook its output up to the input of the stun gun.

Stun guns are easy to deal with. Just pop it open, remove the switches, and install jumper wires where the switches are. Or, if you felt like ordering one from <a href="http://www.launchpotatoes.com/index.php ... =15">me</a>, it's a simple block that you just need to give 9-12 volts to and it will spark.

Awsome stuff Gort. I appreciate it. I'm going to try to modify the one I have first, but if I screw it all up ill probly hit up for one of yours lol.

So would I just be able to attach a 9V battery to the wireless switch as well as needing one to my stun gun?Or will I only need one 9V? And then just run the jumper wires from where my old switch use to be to the outlet wires of the new switch? Im just asking because Im looking for wireless ignition for some of the combustions I'm planning on making, not for a little RC spudder, although that sounds fun as heck.

Were you planning on a mechanical or electronic system to actuate you ignition? First off no matter what you do it, having a high voltage spark/ peizo igniter near any RC equipment will cause huge EMI and glitching in your servos. That aside I do have a suggestion.

Any one who is familiar with RC should know that a servo's deflection is caused by a series of 1ms to 2ms pulses. With this in mind, you could use an opto-isolator to send the pulse to a separate circuit to help minimize EMI and use a decade counter in a pulse divider arrangement to get the pulse to a reasonable frequency. With this you could then run the base of a power transistor powered by a separate battery triggering a small audio transformer to create your spark. Minimal parts and simple operation...a basic homemade stungun or ignition coil driver without the pulse generator.
