not to be high or anything but they dropped it. any plastic under pressure would blow. i don't think this is a very good example to be based on.

I used 100mph tape on a cannon i wasent sure of just the other day. It fialed and desintergrated in my hands but the tape kept everything confinde except for a few fragments that fell and hit the ground. 
Lucky I had the tape on other wise i recon it woulda hurt a bit i walked away with only a small burn on my thumb.
If GinsuGuy585 is using real millatery cargo pants to wrap it. He might be rite those things are tough as and are to a degree flame and shapnell retardent. You also could use anti-flash cloathing. thats interspun with kevlar and a flame retardent cloth better than aspestos. I've seen this stuff stand up to full blown flame and it came off slightly singed .`
