So far there's a pretty even distribution over the U.S.

When I look at the map, I see a lot of the people live on the eastern sea board, so why not have it somewhere in the middle?

If its somewhere near me, I'll try to attend.

Right now it's looking perfect for somewhere in central U.S., leaning towards Appalachia. That probably means somewhere around DonTheLegend or Gort.

I'm waiting until later tonight to update the map, since you bumped this and more might want to go.
