That's questionable. A lot of requests for plans have been replied to with "We don't spoon feed".
However, I'll not deny that there are a lot of people willing to help them create their own unique plans - and completely free of course. As well as a whole heap of important safety information to go with it.

It may sound odd, but I'm very happy to say that all of my launchers were made from plans. The important thing is that I myself drew those plans in the first place.

Very true, although I get the feeling that this is because we have that information on the site itself, not to mention countless related sites.

One thing that is rather annoying is that a lot of that info is sort of buried. Since this site has a lot of posts, the search function is hard to use sometimes. It would be nice if several people that know where said posts/threads are, and could copy them into the how-to section.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like a lot of information is still locked up in threads, instead of in the Wiki like you say it is.

But maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah I agree with you, we are like that, but if we were to spoonfeed someone some plans the only difference between our plans and the ones for sale is $X, spoonfeeding them plans has the same problems as the ones they can buy.

We more or less try and get the person to design their own plans based of guns in the showcase sections, that's how I design my guns, I think to myself what I want to achieve then try and get the best of both worlds by combining them all, it helps to look at peoples spudguns who have similar designs to yours.

Not that you've done any serious arguing, but it's usually better to gain some respect as an upstanding member before arguing, regardless of whether you actually know your stuff.

i definitely don't believe your mrcrowley. even though he seems to have issues with what i've posted i don't believe he would waste the time to create another account. he might read some of my stuff out of context, but that's not a crime and most of the time i'm willing to reinforce what was already posted.

if i was to go by this thread alone i'm going to guess your benstern, maybe ammosmoke. i'm leaning towards benstern. your writing style also gives clues to who you really are. i don't really wish to start comparing your posts to others, i have better things to do.

in the future please try to stay on topic.
please continue to email, i do enjoy a good laugh.
can i still reach you at your pasturepatrol email?

Sorry to burst your bubble but I just checked blackosprey's IP and he is the only member using that IP.

Now stop accusing members of this forum, especially ones who are more senior then you and have done something for this community. You have already started out on the wrong foot with a few members here so lets try and fix that before you get into more trouble.

As the person who has started this thread, I am sorry for any harm this has caused. I think the title was probably what made the thread a little on the venemous side. For the record, I just figured that this was something cajun should have changed, and after some other posts decided that they should also change some designs for the the good of the hobby. I didn't think that this should become some long, dragged out explosion of reactive posts. I certainly didn't think that cajun would become personally involved. However, that was probably a good thing in the end, it just didn't look so great coming from our side. Again, I am sorry for anything that might have happened to the company. This got way farther out than I ever intended.

You have to be very careful when you make bullets Ammosmoke.
That being said i wouldn't worry too much, i suspect lots of people have enjoyed this thread (maybe not cajun).
It has also taught a lot of members to research more before they open thier cyber mouths, (me included). All in all i would say that it has been a rather productive thread :)

I hope so, because the last half of this thread I found anything but enjoyable. It was almost painful for me to watch this thread turn into a monster, knowing it was me who started it.

You haven't done anything against the rules, nor did I say you did. You keep jumping to conclusions or misinterpreting my posts criticizing stuff that you believe I have said but isn't in my post at all. You have done that several times now.

You have taken flak for a reason, look at your posts, it's like your out to prove someone wrong for no reason yet you have nothing at all to back your claims, you don't go up to some random on a street and claim they have done something or they are someone else because you have a hunch.

Keep this on topic, and respect other members or they wont respect you.

Edit:

I see pasturepatrol is a member here, no I am not. I enjoy talking with Pete Zaria and have similar feelings about George Bush and couldn't care less about his signature.

Stop accusing members, you have no proof what so ever just a hunch. I can tell you're not going to fit in here at all, so just stop with this member attacking or you will be temporarily banned.

This is my only account on spudfiles by the way.

pasturepatrol was a "member" who joined just to say one thing only and that was basically "all you guys are stupid kids who will kill yourselves" the topic is in the website suggestions section and is titled "your lack of knowledge discredits you".
