I cannot find anything in my town. There is not one place that carries NSF-PW. All I can find is abs. To get the proper pvc shipped to me would cost over $100 for shipping. So, I have to quit this hobby and go back to magic.

BTW I live in North Eastern Ontario in a city called Timmins. It is about 600 Km north of Toronto.

I'm pretty sure ABS pipe works fine. In fact, I've heard it's safer since it doesn't shrapnelize.

For basic combustions, yes. However the pipe isn't pressure rated nor was it ever intended for pressure, so using ABS on a Pneumatic/Hybrid could prove very dangerous.

actually ABS is just usually not pressure rated, there is some pressure rated ABS out there and it is even rated for air pressure making it much safer than PVC, however that stuff is rare and will cost a lot more for the quality control involved common ABS pipe is usually not pressure rated

but you can still use copper and build smaller caliber rifles

I vote for copper but I did make a pneumatic out of abs olny to 60 psi though and guess what? I don't want to hear any barking from the kibble store!

It is completely impossible to get pressure rated PVC where I live.

Why do you need PVC for spudding anyway? It's low impact resistance, low temperature resistance, and poor failure characteristics mean that it really isn't suited for anything spudding related, except perhaps making stocks and parts that aren't exposed to pressure, but even then ABS is usually better.

Steel or copper make better chamber materials, ABS is a better barrel material unless you're exceeding 500psi or so, and wood is better (and easier to work) for most external parts.
