Two inch cannon sabot
To make a two-inch cannon sabot you will need
Cardboard (cut up a box)
Scissors
DUCK TAPE
A ruler
A pencil/pen

P.S. This is my first multi picture submition if I did any thing wrong or against the rules feel free to delete this post :D and thanx every one who helped me do this.

P.S. To load these I sujest(sp?) tapering the muzzle inward for easy loading.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER<br />For the main body cut the cylinder along the duck tape used to hold it together and the tape at the base then cut again on the other side then hold the base so the sabot looks like this.

You're really going to use cardboard as a sabot? It's not easy to make carboard into round shapes. If you really want to make it even rounder take a box knife and cut a lot of parrerel lines but not all the way through. Cutting it about half way through makes it so much easier to bend. This is all assuming the carboard tube IS the sabot. P.S. It's DUCT TAPE.

I have used them multiple times and have worked perfecly 99% of the times and have made about 20 of them.

P.S.The main body donsn't stay square(most of the time the main body is round during fabrication)

Just a suggestion - maybe try using electrician's tape instead of duct tape or just cover the duct tape with electrician's tape. I have used duct tape to resize ammo and get a good seal and it tends to grab along the inside of the barrel. Electrician's tape slides a lot better, especially if you stretch it slightly.

my friends in construction. he got some dence styrafoam and we twist the barrel through it. It cuts the foam the perfect shape. Then we cut it in half and hollow out the middle and put nuts or bolts into it
