I have started this poll because not only do I want to know how many of us are lefties, but I want to prove my friend wrong in saying being lefthanded has no collrelation with "mental setup". aka: Artsy people are always left handed, Mechanically inclined people are are left handed, ect.
If this is in the wrong place... move it, it seemed to fit here.

Right handed, but left eyed.
The likelihood is that you will find a reasonably high percentage of people with some left side dominance on this forum, because it's linked to cross-lateralisation in the brain, which is again linked to things like ADHD and autism, which are likely to be common themes on here.

Not good for shooting, is it?
But I've mostly learnt how to overcome it. Much like you can learn to do things with the other hand, I've learnt how to see with my right eye - but it takes concentration.

well i shoot sorta fricked up. i shoot gun lefty, i shoot a compound bow lefty, and i shoot a traditional (recurve) bow righty.
so i'm pretty messed up.
but i never tried to overcome the left eye dominance i just used it.

Ah, I'm such a strong right hander that would be nigh on impossible for me to do the same.

mark- my dad's like that too- he's a lefty but growing up everyone else was righty so he had to learn to be a righty. he's ambidexterous as well

Ah, I didn't start shooting until about 14 or 15, and I'd never really had any mismatches between eye/hand until then, and my handedness was stronger than my eye-ness, so the eye had to lose out.

yea thats a problem then- if you've been doing it forever your used to it- like now i really couldn't even hold a gun right handed, much less shoot it

i'm right handed and i think i'm left eyed and i haven't had any problems shooting? (i thought the majority of people were left eyed?)

No, most people are right handed, right eyed and right footed. Having a left side dominance is uncommon.
Whether or not your dominance mismatch is a problem, it is always at least a disadvantage.
