How do vortex disk loading work?

I know how the vortex disk works, but I don't understand how the BBs go into the vortex disk. Wouldn't, unless shaken, the BBs get stuck in the top of the T?
Thanks

In both clouds and vortex's you just realese air into the chamber, this goes to lowest pressure which is out the barrel. So you got ~100 psi of air flying around in there moving fast, this "picks" up the BB's and carries them along the same path.

Thanks again pimpmann
Do vortex disks use a lot less air than clouds or do they both use about the same?

Do it please. I've never understood them. (Really because I haven't tried much, but still do it.)

Is it possible to create a self-contained, continious source of high pressure air by having an extra pressure chamber on the gun which would have a very small exit nozzle with a bleed screw and rubber tubing leading to the vortex block?
You would then get quite a few shots before needing to re-pressurize and have a portable gun, you could even mount a small bicycle hand pump somewhere to make it 100% self-contained.
