Small barrel ammo block

What would the best way be to stop small ammo (marbles, etc.) from going all the way back in the barrel into the valve, etc. without restricting airflow?

Maybe just put a dab of glue or a couple layers of duct tape inside the end of the barrel

A small machine screw.
Whats you barrel made of?
If is copper use a center punch and put a neat dent.

a single strand of fishing line works well, a machine screw will work too.
