cloud bbmg's

ok so I gots a couple questions cause I was considering making a couple of them.
first off:
Which is better/more reliable, a cloud or a vortex.
second:
Would it be possible to use heavier/larger ammo in a cloud? (ex.marbles)
third:
If I made a cloud with a piston behind all the bb's to push them forward, towards the barrel...so there will be a better chance of them going out...would it work? if you need a better explaination of this question just ask. I'm not really good at explaining things in writting. lol.

Wow, all those questions can be answered by searching through the BBMG section of the forums. Because thats where I learned the answers to those very questions myself.

Try the search engine in the future and use it before asking.
(jrrdw, feel free to remove this is you feel he thinks to learn more of a lesson)
1. Vortex, but either still gives you a ridiculous ROF.
2. Yes, but you need to increase the airflow. I doubt you realize just how much you need.
3. I do believe that's whats done with every good bbg, vortex or not..

well he asked a simple question worthy of an answer. my personal experience ive had good luck with both clouds and vortex. the vortex shoots harder in my opinion.
larger/heavier ammo such as marbles i would not try in a pvc chamber because you would need so much more air pressure i would think.
a piston sounds interesting but would slow down the rate of fire which would be nice so the gun would not consume so much ammo.

He asked a simple question, which can be answered but in the future he should use the search engine. We don't need a thread for every time someone wants to know if clouds or vortexes are better.
Of course vortexes are! Why would you go to extra trouble for nothing..

I know.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for life.
OR (not meaning to offend anybody, this is just in general)
Spoonfeed a noob, keep him quiet for a day. Teach him to search and..yeah.

well I wasnt sure what to type into the search engine. sorry. but the piston behind the bb's idea...it would make the chamber smaller as it fired thus making the bb's go out a little better. I think. but I wasnt sure if it would work. thats why I asked. I didnt wanna go to the trouble of making it if it didnt work.

Worth a spot in a signature!
About the plunger/piston thing. If too much ammo gets crammed up on the vortex block, you will get a jamming problem. Thats why some people block of a part of the vortex block, usually called a skirt, to control the amount of ammo going in.
