do air cannons have a good cannon : barrel ratio? if not is their any rule of thumb to how big the chamber and barrel should be?

sorry, i have no clue at all when it comes to pneumatics. I was going to try to make one from scratch and i was trying to figure out how long the air chamber should be compared to the barrel.

Like saladtossser said, download the GGDT, and use the gun optimizer to get your ratio.
