2 questions

1. i just built my new gun and the cleanout cap leaks through the threads, what can i use to fix it?
2. i found the chamber to my old cannon, it is 24 inches of 4 inch pipe, what size barrel should i put on it?

use teflon tape to fix leaks in threads, im not really a combustions man tho so i dont know about chamber/barrel ratios.

yes, teflon tape isnt like a glue, you wrap the tape around the threads.

I would think teflon tape would wear off rather fast if being used on a cleanout for a aersol combustion. You shouldnt be losing that much pressure via the threads. I would speculate either your threads are jacked or your tighting enough. In the case of lose tightening, use a strap wrench or pipe wrench.

my teflon tape held up fine with my combustion. :?

Yes it holds up, but when you unscrew and screw it back on/off it tares the tape up.

There shouldn't be that much leakage in a combustion around the threads to the point where you should need to tape it up.
