Do you want to limit the projectiles to Nerf or Airsoft?
I've gotten a t shirt over 300 feet.
This apple near the end zone traveled from the school shop, over the gym, parking lot, bus barn, shot put area, and the other goal post to get here for about 225 yards. The streak of debris about 4 yards long is the apple.
Some projectiles fly better than others. Golf balls go much further. A golf ball and a lime has cleared the tennis courts in the background.

My furthest shot ever was 471 yards with a golf ball.

I think my max is about 150yds with about an 8" 2x2 with a disc on the back to seal in the barrel(not so scientifically calculated using google earth).

I took some time to locate some measured golf ball distances. At full pressure on the large cannon, I always lose the ball. I did find some balls on a 50 PSI test. Here is the results of a morning of testing before the rain set in. The golf ball made 360 yards on only 50 PSI.
The short range shots was other stuff. The GB is the golf ball.
We also got an apple 386 yards at 100 PSI. Distances measured by GPS and marked on Google Maps by GPS coordinates. These are not guesses.

My longest range measured shot was roughly 500m, with a 5kg dart fired from SCTBDCv2.0. After one reaches the point where the projectile is never visible at all and tends to travel several kilometres, shooting for range gets considerably less interesting.

These are the distances for my QDV cannon:
125 meters at 1 bar (14 psi)
150 meters at 2 bar (30 psi)
280 - 300 meters at 3.5 bar (50 psi)
I have a valve of 42 mm, wich has slightly less performance compared to tech's 2" and 2.5" cannons.
The shots were done with a projectile consisting of a golfball with a tube taped on to it.
This tube added a lot of air resistance, and didn't stabilize the golfball like my intention was.
I shot some potatoes today at 5 bar, but the potatoes just broke into pieces when they cleared the muzzle.
I also shot a small electric motor at 7 bar (100 psi)
I couldn't even see it fly. The recoil was pretty bad. I have a small bruise on my hip now
I am very, very curious where the motor went....
Where I live it freezes now. On the canals there was a layer of ice.
I shot a hole in it with a sandbag at 50 psi, and then I pumped my gun to 100 psi. I shoved the barrel under the ice, and pulled the rod.
The ice cracked, and a huge air bubble spread under the ice. It was very nice to see

One of my personal achievements was to launch a golf ball a total distance of 100 ft........ where it impacted the side of a car. Not much distance, I know but, it was traveling at mach 1.04nerfnerd111 wrote:i want to see how far your guns went on your record breaking personal achievments

1 inch projectiles vanish from view very quickly unless they have very poor aerodynamics. The only 1 inch projectiles 1 can see land are marshmallows. Golf balls, cans of soda, tennis balls, apples, etc simply get smaller in the sky until the sky swallows them from view.

I could easily shoot 250-300 yards with my old golfball gun.
