I had to put a screw into the PVC chamber, and I will seal it with epoxy. How should I go about doing this? should I sand the inside of the chamber hole as well and where should I dab the epoxy?

I generally thread the screw in, remove it, cover it in epoxy, then re-screw it in and the epoxy just adheres to the gaps in the threads. If you tapped the hole properly and used a machine screw though, I suppose you could use teflon tape

Did you drill through two layers of PVC?

Generally, I sand the area around the hole and then do what Lockednloaded suggested but by putting a dab of epoxy covering the hole and about 1/4" out from the hole and then thread the screw through the epoxy and in to the hole.
