spudgunner survey (help me out, guys!)

Hi, I'm new to the forums. in fact, I kinda just joined for this purpose. however, I'll probably need to ask a lot of questions later, so you'll probably see me around.
anyway, I'm here because I'm in an engineering class at my high school. we need to do some market research, and as our capstone project is based around a better potato cannon, you can imagine how hard that is. so I decided to go right to the source (ie the internets).
so... (here's the hard part...javascriptemoticon('')) I need people to take this survey here.
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PTNSBJW
it's just got some questions about how people feel about current potato cannon designs, improvements, etc. please don't mark this as spam, I've really got no other way to do this.
I'll probably end up being here later on to ask some questions of the forum, so don't be surprised if you see my name pop up again.

Build a cannon and post it, then we'll take your survey. It must include a video of you shooting it, a list of meterials with sizes and projectile used with no less then 5 shots. Sounds like a fair trade off to me...
What do the rest of the members say?

Took it, but I didn't see much informational value.

basically this survey is just to establish some design constraints. for example, if we can make a potato cannon that can auto refuel and breech load, but costs more to make than anyone's willing to spend, we haven't really accomplished our goal.

Well then you must have more money then you know what to do with it. I can easily come up with a parts list that I'm not willing to fund!
I smell a troll...

sorry, but I think you misunderstood me. I meant that if we can't do it for a price that people are willing to spend, then we haven't accomplished anything. anyone can design a potato cannon that's really nice but really expensive.

What school do you go to?

Done, but just so you know, the numerical ranges of your poll options could be tweaked a little. When you get into the "journeyman" or "master" levels of this hobby, it's not unusual to spend dozens of hours on a design. Costs are usually the highest in the beginning, then cool off a little once you have cheap and reliable material sources scouted.

Yeah I second Jrrdw. I sell cannons to friends, they just have to pay for the parts and then depending on the size of the cannon and or labor an extra 20-100 dollars... Not that hard to figure it out.
