It is recommended that you download and read both the Solvent Cementing Guide, and the Solvent Cements Catalouge before taking the test. (Both of these will require Adobe Acrobat Reader) -although, the Solvent Cements Catalogue really isn't required for the tesr -I think that they just wanted to show you their line of Solvent Cements...which is O.K. by me, because I see that they carry a Reactive Adhesive that "Bonds PVC and CPVC to dissimiliar materails such as metals, concrete, clay, and others."
It is also required that you have Macromedia FLASH Player v. 4 to run the course.
After obtaining the Solvent Cements cataloguue, you can REGISTER with the site (I made up a bogus company name), and after you click submit, it'll automatically bring you to a "pre-quiz" page.
And here's the Gort part of the post:
I took this course last year and learned A LOT. Upon completion, IPEX sends you a nifty certificate and a pen in the mail which you can proudly hang on your wall like I did. You guys should all take this course whether you have been doing this for years or not. In fact, I wont even take you seriously on here until you can prove to me that you passed this thing.
