my idea... for 1 1/2" female adapter i cut 1 1/4" schedule 40 tubing into about 2/8" thick rings... this left a little room for tape to be added but still fit somewhat snug... after you add the tape just screw the barrel on and your ready... this is convienient because after the shot has been fired you just unscrew the barrel and replace the ring/burst disks...i myself make mine ahead of time so i dont have to keep taping rings.... then i just carry the disks/rings around with me... and my next idea is a holder for the rings... yay! to me... Here is a model if you still dont understand..Image

There exists a PVC fitting called a union that is made for the exact same thing that your trying to do... they aren't exspensive and easier to use than your setup... but good thinking.

This is a much more inexpensive way to make many... it cost as much as pvc and what ever kind of tape or bubble wrap you use.... and free if you have the parts already

by the way:

my other post was suggestions to make it work...

Now I Got It working!

No need to get all pissed off at him carl. He only has 31 posts which means he's probably been on for a week or less and wouldn't completely know the rules or anything.

Nobody ever reads the rules, well almost nobody.

By time you pay for tape over and over again, you can scrounge up that extra 3-5 bucks, it pays for itself over time.

I wasn't pissed off, I just wanted him to listen to me. I don't like it when noobs don't listen. I think everyone should read and follow the rules whether they have 5 posts or 5000. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, I just want people to help keep this forum clean.

4/16" may work better.

Carl isn't doing anything wrong, get off him.

Sorry not to contribute anything 'spud' related - but I did learn THIS after configuring myself to a small area under a tree. [Started to sound like a MasterCard commercial there for a second]
:P

Leave the nitty&gritty moderating to moderators and admin. Its better to confine the conflict of what the 'right' course of actions among a handful of active moderators, then the whole forum. Ive seen some grudges kept among 'normal' members over such. Hopefully I dont sound like a power freak, im just saying leave the touchy subject such as this quarantine among the mods and admin.

Sure, toss your posts up with some politics if you so choose such as "Please try to use better grammar.". But leave the posts that sole content is politics, to the "Rules" section, or in a mod-admin PM box.

*Gets up to leave the tree, apple drops!*
