I got started on spud cannons from my cousin who has to "hide" his cannon from his mom. His dad helps his with that lol but she knows none of what he's made. the only combustion gun which i'm not really aloud to mkae i said was a simple cannon and left it at that without explainin anything to my parents.
What i am wondering is do most people who have spud cannon, and are not aloud to use them or don't even let their parents know that have them when they're not aloud just hide them? If so where do you hide it?personaly if i made a marble gun, which i will sooner or later, i'll have to hide it lol...
(this is to all ppl under 18/ live with their parents/ or are not aloud to have a cannon)
i might of put this in the wroung forum but i couldn't find anyother to post it in.

If you live around any wooded areas make a small shed in there with a padlock and hide the cannons in that, get your dad to help if he helps with the cannons. Simple pallet and tarp shed wouldnt cost much if you can get free pallets.
Another solution would be to hide the cannons at a friends place or a friend of your fathers. Maybe wrap the cannons in a tarp and stick them in the woods all year round except the winter time.
I would just use your imagination to think of good hiding places, I dont really have this problem as my father lets me make my cannons.

&
squeaks lol stfu. idc i typed to fast and i got jumbled. you didn't have to point it out.
My mom is ok with it (she does not understand them fully, but understands a bit), but it is my dad who does not like them. He HATES me to build them. To order parts and such, I need to use a separate credit card and usually send them to a friends first to avoid getting in trouble.
my mum doesnt like them, but she still tolerates them. my dad is ok with them as long as i don't shoot it in our backyard. so i go to the bush down the road and shoot them.
what you need to do is gradually make your way up to big spud guns. start with a mini, your parents would probably approve, then make a medium one from a coke bottle or something, then a bigger coke bottle, then make a real cannon. thats basically how i did it. but that's my parents, your parents might be different

My parents don't like me building cannons, my mom doesn't really mind she just tells me to be careful. My dad on the other hand lol, he freaks out thinking that I'm going to kill myself. Whenever I shoot my cannon I have to be really far away, that is however, only when he is around lol.

wel both my mum and my dad hate them and they caught me with my first gun and i got grounded for a very long time, but i still make them and just hide them in the railings under my bed and shoot them when they are out

My parents are a bit edgy about it. However, as I haven't shot anyone, or been arrested, they're easing up on it.
They're still not happy about combustion launchers. I'm trying to get them to let me build a metered propane cannon.
The word "propane" doesn't seem to be too favourable.
