laws in CA?

am new to this forum. built my gun 2 yrs ago. 2" pvc barrel, 6' comb. chamber, bbq igniter. favorite propellant: aqua net.
someone told me this week that potato guns had been outlawed in the people's republic of ca. any truth to this?

I haven't heard of it, but I live in the US, so you might want to use Google to check, or look at Spud Wiki (link at top of page) and try to find legal issues.

The spud wiki doesn't have any legal information regarding california.
You'll have to turn to google.
...if you find restrictions on them, do us a favor and update the wiki.

Yes I noticed the wiki only has US an Austrailia, I'll see if I can update that.

The cops make up laws at they go along. I live in CA and the cops all have different oppions on the issue. Check with the local athorities.

my searches have turned up little of value(i did find lots of links to find a lawyer , though) don't appear to be any state laws(yet).
