Well I was thinking of ways to make good combustion cartridges and applying my knowledge of real guns to spud guns then I came up with these two hybrid combustion designs
cased ammo, triggered by electricity from bolt
caseless ammo, triggered buy a firing pin mint torch or continuous spark stabbing though the burst disk
I'm not sure if the could work what do you think

maybe, I picked soda bottle thread and cap with a hole so the caseless bullets could be cheaper or else it would cost a lot for threaded conectors or unions

nice design it just need the strips to be precise so it won't predetonate
oh yeah and the caseless round is shot as one piece, the benifet is for magizene feeding without an ejector for spent shells

- Location: Not so beautiful North Carolina, but at least it’s the U.S.A.!
I see a few problems:
One, THAT’S MY IDEA! Sort of…
Two, ¾” by 3” cartridges wouldn’t give you much power, think would you make a normal hybrid with a chamber that small?
Three, I may have missed it, but I didn’t see eclectic hookups for the ignition, I would suggest two copper rings at the front and back of the case, one at the front one at the back.
Four, if you exceed 600 feet per second it’s a firearm in North Carolina, but if it’s under 600FPS then it’s not a firearm (I love loop holes!!!) by NC state law if it doesn’t exceed 600FPS then it’s not a firearm. But you may not live in NC so check your local laws, ask the sheriff what the technical definition of a firearm in you area.

to shoot marbles I think there is plenty of power... the rings, I have 'em on my design.judgment_arms wrote:I see a few problems:
