Does the IPLA have a logo? I know I've seen something that I guess would be it but I want to get my hands on a good quality image of it.

The IPLA is less an organization than it is a bunch of people who call themselves an organization I believe. I'm not really sure if there is an actual establishment. So I don't think they have an official site.

And IPLA isn't really much more than an excuse to tell your parents that you might be some meeting strangers over the internet to play with destructive devices.

I believe the design was something like this:

Image

nominally a globe with two crossed spudguns, with the national flag of your particular country of origin covering half the globe.

The IPLA was established by _latke of the spudtech forums. We had a website created by _latke but it's usefulness was pretty much nothing better than what spudtech had to offer. We basically said that the new IPLA members list would be that of the frequent and serious posters of spudtech, those of which went to the trouble of organizing events or trying to gather public possitive attention to the hobby.

logo's have been many. Do a search in the archived spudtech forums, or go to the IPLA section.

Obviously the IPLA doesn't have a leader, presedent, secretary or any other formalized "association"... but we are a group of people who are tied together by a love of one thing, spudguns.
