It does not say anywhere that it is pressure rated.
Cool find, however

It's pressure rated.

Send them an email i wanna know the pressure rating. It works fine for metered combustion guns Plow has a combustion that had a clear barrel and chamber iirc it held up fine until he dropped it and the barrel broke off the bango fitting.

There the same as regular white fittings you buy at the store. Go look up those ratings.

Actually it is less than the white stuff. Click on the desired pipe size to see the pressure rating under the shipping notice, and the fittings should be rated the same as the pipe.
As iPaintball pointed out, clear fittings are crazy expensive. I've seen guns that have a clear barrel and a clear chamber, but not clear fittings. Unless you have a lot of money to waste or are building a mini, you might be better off just missing being able to see through the 6" between the barrel and chamber.

Yeah, but you know a clear piston valve would be cool as hell.

i thought it would be cool to watch the flame go through the cannon.

So make a gun out of a clear plastic peanut butter jar or something.

I figured that would come up in this thread. It just so happens I've got one sitting in my garage. I still need to build a custom pilot valve for it, but you can expect one pretty soon.

The subject of an entirely clear cannon has come up on several occasions before, but no one seems to think it is worth the incredible cost.

Well if it's going to cost almost $500 for the gun, what's the point when you can just buy a real gun for about the same amount? Heck, you can buy one hell of a nice Savage rifle for that.
I guess it would be possible for someone to buy 10ft of something, take a piece and sell the rest to other people. (hint hint)
Epoxy is pretty tough stuff, probably way stronger than PVC. A mold made using a white PVC part, and then cast in liquid epoxy wouldn't be out of the question, would it? Of course, a vacuum pump would be needed...

Pyrogeek, I have any cannons that cost as much as my firearms. What is to stop someone from saying: "$500 for a firearm? What is the point, I could make a very large cannon for that!"
Spudguns and firearms are two separate things, and both have different purposes.
