No - Those jeans were very heavily worn - they were "construction jeans", very old clothing that was no longer suitable for regular wear, gets used for dirty jobs - and as I'm not particularly prone to rubbing my crotch up against things, that area retained more of it's original colour.

No, but interestingly an interest in building things and engineering does. One uncle got a nomination for a prestigious award a year or so back, another does all kinds of building and repair of old tractors and lorries - including one diesel lorry that's so large it only gets about 2 to 3 mpg, and has a top speed of about 20 mph.
There's a funny story about that lorry where some woman tried to overtake him and hit the side of it because she didn't realise how long it was - thing was, she didn't want to admit this to her husband, so she said it happened half a mile later at a roundabout, and that my uncle tried to undertake on the inside... this goes to court - the judge takes one look at the facts and throws it out - passing on the inside in a lorry that tops out at 20 mph?
