There aren't a lot, no, percentage figures are probably well under 1%.

There are some women registered on the site, but mostly just for a quick question like: "Is my son going to explode?"
You'll seldom find one that takes it up seriously, for the same reasons that there aren't a lot of female car enthusiasts - it's very much fuelled by the mix of male hormones.

It makes me wonder if any of our members are, and don't admit to it.

I know a few girls that think spudguns are cool, and have fired them, but don't know any girls that have constructed one.

Indeed, the desire to poke holes in stuff is very much an instinct pertaining to our gender

I know a couple girls who are interested in what I do, but refuse to actually involve themselves in it or fire one.

However I did know a girl who got turned on by my cannons and what I did, but sadly she moved to Missouri.
