Where do I find the chat room here?

I've been told that this is where a certain person hangs his hat on occasion. I've looked around on more than a few sites...and I've had to become a member on more sites than I care to mention just to be able to post a damn message. I stopped making up those prissy little handles I was told I'd need on all these kind of sites and have been using my name, trying to find him or at least let him see mine and know it was me.
I lost track of him a couple years back, and mail I've sent to his house has been returned. I'd like to get I touch with him again, as I have some pressing business for him. At first I couldn't understand why he would be on these sites, but after browsing through here and there it is easy to see why a place like this appeals to him.
The man I'm looking for is named Jon, although, apparently he's still hanging on to the feral patriot nick name I gave him the last time he was up here adding on to my cabin for us.
I'd really like to get a hold of him as we're ready to finish the other half of the lodge and he has the plans, or at least he did when he left.
I really hope that this is the place because I'm about out of time to start buying materials and have them shipped up here to Kipnuk on a timely schedule. if anybody here knows or knows of him please let him know that I'm looking for him...we need those plans badly, we can't just go to an architect and get another copy because the plans are in his head, this lodge has been his design and build for off and on over the last 10 years and we're at the threshold of the final phase.
If you find or hear of him, be sure to tell him not to bother with the Ham as it has been down since the electrical contractor screwed up last month and had his man dig the generator in too close to the river.
The email address I have posted in my profile is where he can reach me.
Thank you for taking the time to come in here and at least read what I've had to say.
Carry on the power and glory of America,

It's high noon, eager fingers flex over the Image icon while vultures circle overhead.

...I would think there would be better ways to track down a man besides looking for him on the internet in random forums....

Jack, man do you do all or your own animation?

Thank you for your service.

I that's the result of a google image search.
But still wonderfully random.

I think he's refering to the "chat" button in between search and FAQs.
I never even noticed it until a few days ago.

Indeed, the content is all there - one just needs to know how to browse through it :)

That only works if the person you're looking to talk to has also entered the chat, which is why PM is a better idea.

PC:
Thanks for the PM about this, as I'd not have seen it probably otherwise.
I'm long overdue for contacting Bob about his hunting/fishing lodge...
I sent him a PM to call me.

I guess you could lock or delete this post, whatever you want, I'm not sure he'll be back on here... on the one hand I was surprised to see him here, but on the other hand, when he gets a hankering to get something done or find something out he stays the course until the end no matter what. He can be a cantankerous old asshole that way.
The saying " the sins of the father's are visited upon the heads of their children" is certainly visited here, He and my own sire were close friends way back when... long story short...I tend to operate out of a guilty conscious mentality when it comes to friends and family...which tends to make me a sucker, I know.
So years ago, I was guilt tripped into helping Bob, and I think I inadvertantly bit off more than I could chew because instead of just helping him with his own cabin- which I thought was all there was to it, I've ended up doing a whole lot more over the years almost out of pocket and at the detriment of my own family some summers.
He won't accept that I have an artificial shouder..because he didn't accept when I broke L-5 in my back...he'll still expect me to drop everything and come up there.
It is really hard to say NO to him and stick to it....I did it one time after listening to my wife scream at me for weeks and threaten me with divorce, and he came down here to get me and take me back up there with him...and he took my wife and our first two with...they had fun but it was a major chaotic fiasco.
I go forth with great trepidation.
Thanks, but no thanks. (heavy sigh)
