The site has enough people to be in a chat room here on the site... problem is not everyone just "happens" to get in the chat room at the same time and start talking.

currently there are 213 members on the site, plenty for a chatroom, but the problem is that they get on at wrong times. but when the members gut up in the 4 or 5 hundreds do u think a chatroom could be a possibility?? even with 500 ppl only about 20-30 would be on at the same time i guess but still 15 ppl in a chatroom would still be cool.
if you say there 213 members though have you ever glanced down at the bottom of the page where it shows how many people are on (registered, hidden, and Guest) i see about 5 people on at once usally there all guest though. I dont know if that is enough to start a chat room with. One more thing is there a problem if you has a chat room on the web site and no one ever used it wouldnt effect anything would it or does make searching and stuff slower on the site(I dont know alot about manging a website). If i didnt take alot of your time or effect the web site just have one and you can set up general times for people to come on. What do you think

No, that is not an official one :p
I used to have an IRC server with a Java based IRC client, all set up really nice so you didn't have to know anything about IRC. But you would be amazed at the ammount of people that don't have Java installed (because it doesn't come with Windows XP).
It confused the crap out of them, and out of the 20 something people that were supposed to come to the chat, only about 3 got in. The rest were IM'ing me saying how it doesn't work.
If I do put a chat up here, it will have to be php based so everyone can use it.
