thursto came over yesterday and we built a combustion.
My school was cleaning out the observitory and there was 90mm PVC fittings. i got a t with the bottom socket male thread, 2 45 degree elbows and one 90 degree. me being me, i took them. We went to bunnings straight up, he bought some 90mm pipe, an end cap and a female thread end cap. we glued it together and then we left it. the gun was working by night.
It shoots tennis balls, potatoes, cans of softdrink and toilet paper rockets.

Only video i have up at the moment it shooting a can full of water. this is poor because it goes so slow. i found it funny though.

kool looking cannon in the second pic it kinda looks like a giant alien hair dryer (dont ask me why it reminds me of that)
From looking at it, I would assume the black button is your igniter. What kind of igniter is that?

Hey, my god i love this cannon, its a BBQ igniter, with 2 copper rods attached (approx 1mm thick) and makes the spark in the middle of the chamber. I was firing it today, and i did like maybe 5 seconds of lynx deoderant spray, and it shoot a tennis ball like maybe 15m (tennis ball was wadded with newspaper)???? But i still like this cannon very much

Well to me its really comfy, just use the palm of my hand to hit the igniter and boom, does have some kick back it does look a bit uncomfy to hold but for me its not.mike1010 wrote:why are there 2 posts? looks kinda cool but also a little um.... uncomfortable to hold.
