I see the point in that some people may find it offensive because they disagree but first of all, you're on the internet, this sh|t is everywhere and you could get a pop-up that says worse.

Second, it's not offensive in the sence that young people would find it offensive(swearing, nudity etc).

Thirdly, it's in his signature, you're not forced to read his sig and it's not part of the comment he is making in his post. He is also not forcing you to do anything about it, he is only saying to impeach them. If I had in my sig 'Jump of a cliff now'.... would you? Most likely not.

It's more or less free speech, it's his own opinion and he could yell it out on the street and technically not get arrested unless for noise complants, disturbance etc...

And lastly..... 'Sticks and stones....' :P

Wasn't the off topic deleted?

Yeah, but I think he means the Non-Spud Gun related section, which I think should just be for hobbies

Don't worry, I agree with you there - but I think you'll find that most people are all for free speech until it touches on a subject close to their hearts. I remember reading hatemail on t-shirthell.com that sell arguably some of the most offensive shirts on the net, most of them were along the lines of "I used to find your products hilarious until you made a shirt about x subject which concernes me".

offensive in 5k :D

The same words are on the gates to Auschwitz. That is one creepy, creepy place. I was there when I was 10 years old. Imagine the kids that were actually sent there to die?

I don't know why anyone would choose that as their avatar though...

No JSR was right it is from Dachau, however the phrase itself was placed upon concentration camps and to tell you the truth I don't know what I was thinking when I picked it. I just finished reading Mein kampf and I am kinda on the subject mentally.

As far as controversy, couldn't anyone of our signatures and avatars be controversial to someone? For instance, someone my be offended by PVC Arsenal "dropping the F-Bomb" in his avatar, or someone may take offense to Mr Crowley's avatar by being offended by rock music, or my avatar (if only you knew what it meant :D ).

I am going to agree with most and say the avatar / signature should be state of free speech, as long as they adhere to the "teen rating". I know MikeNice stated he wouldn't post anymore in this thread but his quoting the rules as "Don't start threads intending to be controversial" is kind of off subjects for signatures. Signatures are not threads, therefore, they cannot be "started as controversial".

Sorry. I felt like putting my two cents in.

If you are referring to my avatar, it is a cat avatar, but only by coincidence. I have no reason (nor want to have) for starting that up again.

Wait, why bunny vs pancake? Mine has both, and they coexist peacefully.

I don't know. It looks to me like the pancake is trying to eat the bunny.
