Do you mean the propane? If so you don't, you buy new ones, there only like $3-4.

The adapter threads on, there is a valve in there like a paint ball tank, it wont open unless you screw on the tank to the valve. You can get them anyweres, HD, Lowes, Ace Hardware, plumbing places etc
