A coke bottle can take 100 psi easily, go for it ;) as long as your connections are sound.

i used a blow gun attached directly to a compressor and then attached it to a carbon fiber tent pole a bout 30cm long and it could get through 5 cans in a row at 70psi...

110psi takes chunks out of my concrete wall and goes through my shed lol

It is breech loading and has a hop up.

I too am in oz, where bouts u at?

Hey champ im near brisbane.

I dont have a compresser yet, thats why i used a coke bottle to hold compressed air in. What do you use as ammo? im useing bb's that i pulled out of the crank of a bike, the problem is the tube im useing is bigger then the bb, even the smallest copper and metal tubes i have found have been a little to big, so the bb just rolls around the barrel.

Did a little more searching and this is pretty much excatly what, because of the psi that it can hold. Is anyone able to link me of a way to make something like this?

yea im in perth mate, nice to meet ya.

Bunnings sells compressors made by GMC for 100$ and there brill aye. I use 3/8" bbs (crankcase bbs from a bike) you just go to the bike shop and get 100 for 5$ :D , my barrel is off a collapsable tent pole (fits perfect)

yea did you see the milo tin damage :D

i have done a couple of shots at 100psi with the whole tent pole (3m) and im scared (went through 15 cans, through the 10mm plywood 'backstop' and rebounded and left a nice purple welt on ma arm) so i went back to 30cm for norm and 1m ish for sniping

Currently im looknig at a 1m long barrel. The biggest problem i have is what valve should i use? Im looking at an all metal construction, and about 300 psi held in a steel chamber. Hell the bearings i use are abotu double the size of what you are useing, so im thinking of the damage one of them could do at 300psi with a longer barrel also?

I also gotta figure out all the sizes of the chamber, connecters etc etc, and i havent been able to find alot of info on that sort of thing.

best bet is with steel in Australia. Go to your local Bunnings and look near the pvc pipe and they have a lot of steel pipe pre threaded steel pipe of various sizes as well as fittings.

300psi excludes the use of a sprinkler valve and a qev (mostly, except if you like going over recommendations of maximum pressure) so maybe a piston valve, pressure washer handle or a ball valve is maybe all you can use.

hey im just wondering if anyone has tryed this as a vavle, i found it while browsing for a compressor

Im also redoing the plans for the rifle, the problem i have is the trigger is behind the ball valve. Is there a way i can make a spring loaded ball valve with th e trigger behind the chamber and ball vavle? Here is a quick plan i did

The right angel copper is mounted inside of the stock, with the lever of the ball valve ou tthe side. Can someone please do a quick sketch of how i coudl make it work? I woudl prefer to do a spring ball valve because its easyer then a piston valve. Thanks

Forget the air hammer, get yourself a cheapo nailgun from eBay, with some slight mods it will make an excellent semi-auto valve - or a coin launcher yay! :D

Well i have decided on the final design after a little insperation. Here is a simple paint plan. the size's are 3/4 " and 1/4", with 6mm barrel. I plan on useing a piston valve as i wish to pump this thing up to 300psi or so. I will be drilling a small part out of the barrel so metal BB's can be loaded in, with a slider above it to seal the hole when its fired.

The main issue is how to make a piston valve. I looked at the one in the how-tos but it didnt really make much sence to me?

Here is the plan. The way its designed is the back of the pressure chamber doubled for a sholder rest thingy. I did a quick build in the hardware store, just to see how it would work, and its quick comfortable to hold.

Edit- Cost to build will be 89$ AUD minus scope. How does that compare to other rifles in price?
