Subliminal messages in the form of a "that's what she said" joke? I would be surprised if no one else saw that besides me

Black and grey is nice, but color has its place too. The area it will be on your body and the color/shade of your skin are two big factors, with the actual design itself playing a role as well.

This is the one (actually two, the skull and tree were done by different artists) I have on my arm. I got this in black and grey because of the style and the fact that it will see sun. Before I get any comments on the actual tattoo, it does represent something to me indirectly.

This is the one on my leg, I got it in color because I thought it would work better, and my legs don't get as much sun as my arms do. Its meaning is pretty obvious.

Also, go visit the tattoo shops in your area. Don't be afraid to walk out if you don't like the place or the artist. I walked out of TWO shops in my area because of the people. If they are anxious to get you in a chair, there is a problem. I got one done (its not one of the two above) that I wish I didn't. Not because of the design, but because of the quality of the work I got done. I actually am LUCKY I got it in the colors I did because they faded and it will be easy to put something over it by the artist I now go to (the one that did the tree and the one on my leg).

Just to note, I liked the guy that did the skull on my arm, but he is some 1500 miles away, and Now I am completely amazed by the guy here that did the tree and the memorial tattoo.

Go visit the tattoo shops, and see their previous work. You want to make sure they are damn good at what they do. There are many "sorta okay" and mediocre artists out there. Don't let price sucker you. This shit doesn't just disappear if you don't like the way it turns out. There are ways of removing tattoos, but they are not necessarily 100% effective, and they are motherfucking expensive.

http://modblog.bmezine.com/ is a good place to get an idea of what a quality tattoo looks like. Surf the updates since about June of '06. There's plenty of examples in there.

Also, I didn't know Jack had such a kinky side. I'm not sure if I should be fascinated, amused, or mildly shocked.

It seems that the cake is a facsimile of a section of the Fra Mauro map. I certainly hope it tasted better than it looked, although that isn't saying much.

Since no one thought my "thats what she said joke was hilarious :x , I will spend my time instead explaining the cake incident through smileys.

 JSR gets the idea to make the cake

:love2: :love1: His fiancée comes over

:profileright: :occasion6: :profileleft: They each have a piece

 :puke: The inevitable result

  :iroc: She leaves for the night due to a nasty stomachache

 Still sad

 Another brilliant idea

:ky: Some preparation

:read: And he finally gets "some sweet lovin"

:sign10: :sign10: :sign10: End result

I hope everyone here enjoyed that tale :)

By the way, anyone notice how weird those smilies are? Some of them kinda freaked me out... especially the last three that I used... when would people need them?

i drew up a picture today of what i think the tattoo should look like based on your pics and my critiquing. only thing is i left the badge in the middle for you to decide what you would like to put in it. I was thinking some kind of celtic symbol representing your name (or your lover's name) or even the world. plz tell me what you think.

EDIT: sorry bout the poor pic, flash is quite annoying and without it, the pic looks worse :? :( but you get the main idea.
